How was the atmosphere when you were on the set?

It was very interesting to see all of these actors from different denominations working together on one project. I felt glad that we could work together despite our different views.

How important is the story of Apparition to you personally?

Having been privy to supernatural stuff before, I'm glad that someone finally touched on this subject instead of sweeping it under the rug.

How much time do you/have you devoted to the production of the movie?

I came in at the tail-end of the movie’s production, but what I did throw in, I feel, really helped with the film’s production. My [undisclosed] experience also helped me to play my character just right. Once again, you’ll have to wait and see.

How did you come into contact with Leesley Films?

I joined the Film Connection apprenticeship, which directed me to Leesley Films.

What did you like about the character you played in the movie?

Haha. I’m [undisclosed] in the movie. You’ll have to wait and see!

What were the differences with the screenplay to Apparition compared to other Christian movies?

It reminded me of [undisclosed] when it came to Jamison’s writing style. I usually despise Christian movies because of its lack of realism, but this movie actually brings out a sense that these things are actually happening.

What is/are your long-term goals in the Christian film industry?

In all honesty, I think I can reach more people by writing secular scripts with Christian themes such as Narnia. We live in an age where people want something real, not something slapping them in the face with religion. Leesley Films is bridging that gap between secular and Christian style films which I respect, because I can’t bear to watch other Christian movies because how awful they are.
