When I first connected with Steve Bowder, I knew he was an accomplished musician with years of experience on the keys, but I had a very specific challenge for him. Scoring a film requires more than just technical skill; it requires the ability to translate visual emotion into sound.

To see if he was up to the task, I sent him one of the most difficult scenes in the film to score. I knew if he could capture the 'soul' of that footage, he was the right person for Leesley Films. When he returned the track, it didn't just fit—it was perfect. The music Steve composed for the Apparition movie soundtrack is deeply emotional and carries a weight that I am incredibly proud of every time I watch the film.

Beyond his musical contributions, Steve also brings a powerful presence to the screen as an actor. Filming with him on location at the Chrome Lounge in Omaha allowed us to capture the gritty, authentic atmosphere that this story demands.
